UKCDFF

The United Kingdom Community Drama Federation was set up to oversee the British Final of One Act Plays, with the aim of creating a coherent festival with a common set of entry rules, whilst maintaining the individuality that each country brings to the event.

What we do

  • Support collaboration between national festival organisers.
  • Share good practice in festival management and adjudication.
  • Coordinate arrangements for the British Final of One Act Plays.
  • Promote access, inclusion, and grassroots participation in drama.

Governance

UKCDFF is run by representatives of the four national associations. Officers (Chair, Secretary, Treasurer) are appointed from within the federation. We operate to a simple constitution and meet regularly to plan the British Final.

We currently have four office bearers - Chair: Ian Thomas; Vice Chair: Mac Pollock; Treasurer: Jackie Westerman; and Secretary: Morna Barron - together with two representatives from each of the four national associations that take part in the British Final of One Act Plays each year.
